Has Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo begun planning a move to the MLS?
According to the New York Post, the 30-year-old Portuguese forward splashed out $18.5 million on an apartment in New York’s famous Trump Tower.
Much has been made of a potential Cristiano Ronaldo move to the MLS when his contract expires in 2018. New York City FC and New York Red Bulls currently look likely destinations.
The loft was initially the property of Italian real-estate mogul Alessandro Proto.

The 2,509-square-foot loft has three bedrooms and a corner location that offers panoramic views of Central Park, the Empire State Building, One World Trade Center, and the Hudson River.
