Recall that the Court of Appeal and the Federal High Court, both sitting in Abuja refused to grant the senate president Dr Bukola Saraki shield from being arraigned at the Code of Conduct Tribunal, CCT, on a 13-count criminal charge bordering on false declaration of assets preferred against him.
Saraki arrived the tribunal Around 9:30am this morning, after which he was docked. He pleaded not guilty to all 13 count charges against him.
Reports say that the Tribunal barred all media outfits from broadcasting the proceedings, hence the News outfit discontinued its live coverage.
Nigerians took to their social media accounts to react and comment.See comments from Twitter users.
Why has the media been barred from covering this? It shows clearly that certain individuals have there own rules. #SarakiOnTrial
