Boko Haram Slaughters 30 Villagers

Not less than 30 villagers were slaughtered by Boko Haram sect in some villages in the volatile north east of Nigeria.

In recent information by a local vigilante Mustapha Karimbe most of the victims were slaughtered while some were wounded with machete cuts.
Meanwhile, twenty others were injured in the attack that took place over the weekend in the villages of Warwara, Mangari and Bura-Shika in Borno state.
The Islamist militants are said to have invaded the villages, hacking and slaughtering their victims before setting the villages on fire.
However, it is reported that the news of the raid is only emerging due to poor communication in the area.
